Community Outreach

Each year our team is involved with several large community outreach projects as well as many smaller projects. We take great pride in making a difference in the Wildwood community. It’s not about the recognition– it’s about the feeling of being part of something that makes a difference. Not for our benefit, but for the benefit of our city family. Our hope is that you’ll join us in our efforts to make this community it’s very best.

“The Brave Response” Bass Fishing Tournament

“The Brave Response” is what takes place when military personnel and first responders are placed in a position to take action.  Their bravery and quick response are what determine the outcome.

The Wildwood Police Department would like to announce the first-ever Bass Fishing Tournament called “The Brave Response” this March!  This is an event like no other and is for charity to benefit the non-profit “Combat Veterans to Careers”. The event will be held at Lake Panasoffkee Fishing Lodge, formerly known as “Tracy’s Point Fishing Lodge”, in Lake Panasoffkee.

Anyone is invited to sign up!

Wildwood PD’s Memorial Day Community Event

Join the Wildwood Police Department on Memorial Day as we honor and remember those who have passed in service to our country.

We will be having free lunch, a Veterans Honors Presentation, and the Blood Bus will be present for those wishing to donate!

Stop by the Wildwood Police Department Headquarters (3939 CR 462E) and grab a bite to eat as we remember and honor the fallen. We look forward to seeing our community show up in honor of our fallen Veterans!
